Finally!
What am I talking about? Well, I’m talking about golf! Tiger Woods happens to be back and the sport of golf is FINALLY relevant again! Thank you Tiger Woods!! After that epic win at the US Open last year on ONE leg, its nice to know he’s back and golf can become exciting again.
Now, granted, Woods didn’t make it past the second round, but give the guy a break…he hasn’t played in almost 9 months..of course he is going to have some rust! I commend him for coming back and I am in the camp of those that are thinking he could be better than ever. On his second hole the first day, not only did he nail the drive for 330 yards, but he also got an eagle on the hole! If that doesn’t show that Tiger is back, I don’t know what does.
How will Tiger fare this year? I say he wins a couple majors this year…Masters is still over a month away so he’ll have a couple opportunities to warmup a little more and since Augusta is his playground, I would not be surprised at all to see him win the Masters.
Tiger is back!
Golf is relevant once again!
